Residential Renovation
This home balances the character of its original architecture with a fresh, vibrant point of view. Working closely with Norcross Builders, our team approached each update with care and consideration for the existing elements, ensuring that the modern additions felt thoughtful and intentional within the home’s original framework.
A lively color story sets the tone throughout, with expressive fabrics and tactile materials bringing energy and warmth to each space. A beautiful patchwork fabric by Brentano and a knotted textured rug from Maharam add pattern and dimension, while a mix of wood tones and furniture styles creates an unexpected dialogue between old and new. Family heirloom antiques are paired with contemporary pieces, including a sculptural coffee table by Nashville-based Scheibe Design, creating spaces that feel collected rather than overly designed.
In the kitchen, a former coat closet and banquette were reimagined as a curved bar with full-height storage, fabricated by Ora House. The transformation creates a thoughtful intersection of function and form while adding another architectural moment to the space.
Throughout the home, artwork by Letitia Quesenberry adds depth and emotion, bringing pieces that feel personal and speak to the soul. In the guest bathroom, limewash walls and ceiling by Loren Myhre create a soft, serene atmosphere, complemented by a custom vanity from Louisville Concrete Studio. Together, the layered textures and natural finishes transform the space into a calming, spa-like retreat.
The result is a home that celebrates contrast: classic and contemporary, vibrant and serene, refined and deeply personal.
